Hi, everyone. I'm a Japanese girl.
I learn Chinese, because I like China.
I think Chinese gave Japanese many things in the old days.
For example, Rice, Kanji, Buddhism, tea, medicine and mirror etc...
So I appreciate Chinese people's favor.
But Japanese massacred many Chinese people.
I want to apolpgize to them for it.
I wonder what can I do for China.
But I don't know...
So I think I should study hard for finding it and know Chinese culuture more Very Happy
Please tell me Chinese culture.

Hi willow,it's nice to see your apology.I have to say, however, such apology is rarely heard from today's ordinary Japanese.

As being the common person,I think the best way you,I and others can do in order to help our friendship is just to tell you people the truth of the massacres, which truely happened over the asia continent in WWII and today are being misled to the public by some Japanese right wing parties.

It's maybe hard, but we have to face without any additional choice. Very Happy

...Here is the story of Hasegawa Teru, otherwise known to the worldwide Esperanto community as Verda Majo (Green May), a Japanese woman who helped the Chinese, of her own volition, against the aggression of the Imperial Japanese Army, in many ways.

You can read her fascinating story here:

http://www.suite101.com/article.cfm/esperanto/41972

If you'd like to know more about this language, which Cai Yuanpei and Bajing had learnt, and which Luxun and the Great Chairman himself spoke fondly of, and which is still supported by the Chinese government to this day (viz. http://www.espero.com.cn/ )please see:

Happy reading, all!
