Even the preacher, at some point, is going to lay down with his wife. I think people get caught up in the fact tah if you are Christian, you can't have lustful thoughts. Sure yu can - *for the people* your are supposed to.
Could anyone explain that part, "for the people* |

The clause after the dash is an emphasis for the "Sure you can" clause. It means that Christians are allowed to have lustful thoughts for (about) the people they are supposed to have lustful thoughts about. That is, they are allowed to have lustful thoughts about their spouses, but not about any others. |
