I don't know what was written in the Japanese history book,I also haven't seen the book,but there are lots of news told me that the history in the book is different from the really history,I hope it is not true.I think that if you really do something wrong,you should admit and do something to save the situation.Not deny it.
If not,I think there will be many people to oppose it.

Well, that's not really necessary. Japan's army is tiny compared to China's or even North Korea's. See: http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,409638,00.html for info. Because of Japan's close ties to the U.S. and because of Japan's strong economy, it has the best equipped, best trained, and maybe best paid army in Asia, but that does not mean they are the best warriors. They have not been tested (and let's hope they never have a chance or need!), so we don't know how effective they will be.
IMHO, WWII was a very powerful force of evolution for Japan. Most men with strong aggressive military attitudes either died during the war or killed themselves in shame after the war (code of bushido). The only people to survive were quiet and peaceful and non-militaristic. Even today you can see in their society that they are very much afraid of the outside world. It is rare to see one brave enough to travel on their own outside the safety of a group tour. Militarily they would remain timid if not for one big problem: North Korea. That insane little hermit kingdom's own aggressiveness is making the Japanese scared enough to start building up its own military in anticipation of an attack from North Korea. Seriously, you can't imagine how much it's affecting them. Stories about N. Korea occupy a lot of the new programs' air time on TV and space on the newspapers. If China wants to see a pacifist Japan, then China should seriously consider doing something about insane Kim Jong Il. |

Bob,I'm wondering do you know what are told in japanese new history school book?They deny nanjing massacre,their motivation of invading China,etc. I want to know do you believe these bu/ll/sh/it?Imagining what will happen and you are going to say if German government sugars up the holocaust to Jews in their school books?Someone told me two third contents of German school book is about their sins in WWII,compared to what the Japanese government has done,don't you find something different yet?
I am afraid that if they don't let their younger generation know their WWII crimes well,history will replay again. |

What's your mean about the sentences up there? China don't have strong enough weapons to fight japan? Is that what you mean?
Oh Mr.Admiral I look you as a guy who knows everything and full of knowledge. I know what I have say what I have done. But you can's understand why it happened you can't understand why chinese hate Japanese so deep. Because these unforgivable thing didn't happen to your people. That's why You didn't know what they have done because you never saw it before. You don't know how bloodiness they are!
I know that if we have been lost the war we are loser so what more we can do?
But they kill million people just for play! THEY make a KILLING match between two officer. They two kill 250+people in a morning with the japanese sword( I don't know how you call it) And they cut their head off put together and take a pictureAnd they use chinese be a bayonet pracitce. THEY use chinese to do poison gas experiment. THEY put chinese in a iron box with nails and roll the box. THEY put chinese in a
hop-pocket and burn it. AND MORE UNFORGIVABLE THING IS THEY outrage chinese women in anytime anyway then them kill them with nake budy AND THEY do the thing.....(I don't say it's can't bear to see)
THAT's ONLY AND PART THINGs THEY HAVE DONE IN CHINA STILL HAVE MANY secret under the land.
THAT's WHY YOU CAN'T TASTE that feeling. You can't

It's sad in a pathetic kind of way that many of the young people in Japan today live in a sheltered world of ignorance. They are shocked to find out the reason for the Atomic-bomb dome memorial in Hiroshima. And until the movie Pearl Harbor came out, many had no idea that the U.S. and Japan were once at war. And you can forget asking anyone of any knowledge of Unit 731 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unit_731).
As Mr. Admiral mentioned before, Germany does not hide the truth of its evil past from their children. So, why would Japan want to ignore its own past? Is it a cultural thing to protect the children? What is the political benefit to doing so, knowing that it risks causing such trouble internationally?

Oh,thank you,Bob.It seems that you know it clearly,then why you said "that's not really necessary"?And you might think I was nagging about Japanese war crimes,I have to be so nagging,because there,some organizations have been trying best to erase the memories of what Japan had done in WWII from people's minds.
Please don't try to defend such glorifying conduct,don't you think it's kinda ridiculous to ascribe the revolted act to "live in a sheltered world of ignorance"?Do you think that the new schoolbook was made up by such people who live in the sheltered world of ignorance?And I think ignorants are easily used to do things even if as lying and killing.Just before WWII,common but ignorant Japanese people were deceived by imperialism;then we all have known what they have done due to their "ignorance",and now you actually agree to keep them ignorant,so what's your solution of avoiding the tragedy to happen again?
By lying past to public,Japan is going to amend constitution in order to make its armies legal,isn't that a signal of another expanding? |

We taught Japanese how to build joss and house in T'ang dynasty. Most words in Japanese are learnes from us We trade with them we be a friend with them But Now they ask us to SAY SORRY to them just because our demonstrate had hurt some of their citizen. What the hell are they talking about They don't have a look what they have done to us?

republic of china established our premier said we don't need japan to pay money. Because we still want to be a friend. we didn't ask them for money after they lost the war. If we did japan is not so strong anymore.
We didn't ask they for pay not mean We forgive them Because they didn't even say A sorry. We want them to say SORRY FACE THE WHOLE
WORLD. DON't HIDE ANYMORE. So we may be a friend.
But they think other way. Thye want to be stronger us againe and force us to forget the history and let no one know it

Sorry I misspell words and I also made some solecism.
I got improve on them.
And I want say onemore thing. Japan may have strong weapons But still they only have a Island there. where else they can go. If we stop trade with them Or we stop sell and buy japanese MITSUBISHI cars because it the largest ammo business in japan during the WWII. Chinese goods is very important to japanese.
So fight japanese have a lot way. And no one want it happen because U.S is stand back of it. We are not afraid U.s But it's going cost a lot for the war. And there is one more reason we don't want japan become a "permanment security council" Because if japan is a permanment Security council" THe UN is useless Because U.S Japan England are just like brothers. THey 3 can totally control UN by voting. Some we can't let this happen. NO way man NO way
