Dear teachers:
The conversion apparatus may preferably be employed in a three-operands adder as an interface between a dual-rail three-bits half adder and a sum-carry stage of a two-bits full adder so as to achieve the same level of security as a full implementation of the three-operands adder in dual-rail technology despite the two-bits full adder being implemented in single-rail technology.
Is it grammatical to put a comma before "so as to" to make the sentence simple and easier to understand? I usually do so, but my cram school teacher told me it's not correct to do that. I am a little confused! The same situation occurs in "in order to" and "in order that." |

The sentence is long, complicated, and technical.
You might be able to break it up into shorter sentences to make it easier to understand.
You should insert commas between dual rail, three-bit, half adder and other places where you are using more than one adjective.
But you don't need a comma before "so as to". |
