I think sky is kept up by hot air coming from UN and London, Moscow, Washington etc.,
You see how brainwashed and ignorant Islam likes to keep its followers?
There are 20 or 30 million of them in Europe. Better wake up, Schroeder. Better wake up Chirac and Blair. You have let wolves in among sheep.
For information of Mony. It is gravity that keeps planets in order.
Earth is tiny part of universe.
Universe is (up to now) 136,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 kilometers across.
Earth has diameter of 12,756 km.
Why do you think "allah" attaches so much importance tp earth?

Hi "Mr.SCS-t0mas "......

You said my parents are my creators. Then who are the creators of theirs and theirs, etc.? There should be one great supreme creator who has created all these things. There should be God. Because no other Gods claim that there are not. Our mission here in this world is to worship Him so we have to obey Him. We are going to be asked by Him what we did in our life. Look at all these body systems and organs we have and how they work perfectly and in harmony with others. There must be a Creator who creates all these things. We can't just relax and say it is the nature. This is absurd.

The absurd is what YOU are saying ! Wink

If i got it right you say that our mission on this planet is ONLY to worship Allah, yes?

So what were we given all these body systems and organs for?? Only for worshiping ??

We were given everything we have to ENJOY it!!To make love with others , mainly to have FUN!

burk- oh, buddy...
You can look all this stuff up on the internet. Don't you know how, or are you too afraid that your Imam will find out, and have you killed for apostacy?
Jesus, (Issa) is a prophet of Islam, according to another of your muslim brothers, so it's not clear to me what you are trying to say about jesus.
Jesus was a jew, so I wonder how the present state of hatred for jews became so entrenched in Islamic thought
Christians believe he is the son of God. I don't believe that. I don't believe there is a god of any sort.
According to your religion, this marks me for death.
Islam is synonymous with intolerance.

Asterix ,

A big , blue bubble? Of course we don't !
Why you say so?
I see now , it must be the pillar thing .
Luckily , it is true that Islam thrives , you know why? 'cause it deserves ; you know, survival of the fittest.

By the way , does ignorance really help making things better?
Personally I don't think so.

----------------------------------------------------
pugachevV,

Islam doesn't keep us in ignorance !
For your own information THE (136,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 ) is EXPANDING and this theory is proved long time ago in Islam , which tries to keep its followers in ignorance , and FINALLY in science after the big event of Big Bang . this is stated in the Holy Quran (sura 51, verse 47) where God is speaking , "The heaven, We have built it with power. Verily. We are expanding it."
The Holy Bible also alludes to this expansion: "It is he who sits upon the circle above the earth and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in." Isaiah 40:22 NKJV.

Why do you think "allah" attaches so much importance to earth?

Because it is just the right distance from the sun. If Earth were too close to the sun, it would be too hot for living things. If it were too far from the sun, it would be too cold for living things to live.
INADDITION , the atmosphere of the earth holds the most appropriate gasses in the most appropriate ratio needed for the survival not only of human beings, but also of all the living beings on the earth.
Any break in the balance or any change in the ratios even for a very short time period, would mean the total destruction of life. Yet, this does not happen. The formation of these gasses in the atmosphere just in the amount people need, and the constant preservation of these ratios indicate a planned creation.
the earth has the ideal size in terms of magnitude to possess an atmosphere. If the mass of the earth were a little less, then its gravitational force would be insufficient and the atmosphere would be dispersed in space. If its mass were a little greater, then the gravitational force would be too much and the earth would absorb all gasses in the atmosphere.
The creation of these delicate proportions and balances in the sky is mentioned in the 7th verse of Surat ar-Rahman:
He ( Allah ) erected heaven and established the balance. (Surat ar-Rahman, 7)
AGAIN, Islam is NOT keeping us in ignorance , in fact, religion and science are twins in Islam for the first verse revealed to Mohammad ( pbun) is " read by the name of your God the creator ". (Surat al-alak , 1 ). The verb Read " eqra" in Arabic doesn't only involve the very act of reading , but it includes
Tell my next post I'd really appreciate it if you help me answering these questions ;
" Earth is tiny part of universe " I agree with you. This means that tiny things should be part of other greater things.
What do you think universe is part of ?
"It is gravity that keeps planets in order. " true , but I JUST WONDER what causes gravity?

Please answer them with some respect to heavenly religions, I respect your believes and I expect the same from you.

Wish you the best,
Not a WOLF at all ..

-scs-tOmas,
don't say your parents are your creators , though I respect your point of view, because this answer requires deep thinking from your part , simply it is not convincing. what I need here is reasoning . reason says if your parents were your creators , who would be the creator of Adam , whom we all know as the first man ever on earth?
the answer is stated clearly in Quran ;
It is He Who has created you from a single person (Adam), and has given you a place of residing (on the earth or in your mother's wombs) and a place of storage [in the earth (in your graves) or in your father's loins]. Indeed, We have explained in detail Our revelations (this Qur'an) for people who understand.
for your second post ,
Allah created us to enjoy living in this world , but the essential reason is to worship him , he created us and he's willing to ask us whatever he wants.
Allah the Exalted said;
"Know that the life of this world is only play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting among you, and rivalry in respect of wealth and children. (It is) like a rain (Ghayth), thereof the growth is pleasing to the tiller; afterwards it dries up and you see it turning yellow; then it becomes straw. But in the Hereafter (there is) a severe torment, and (there is) forgiveness from Allah and (His) pleasure. And the life of this world is only a deceiving enjoyment." [57:20]
why is it deceiving?
because it is like a rain ;
"Like a rain (Ghayth)," which is the rain that comes down to mankind, after they had felt despair. Allah the Exalted said in another Ayah,
"And He is it Who sends down the Ghayth (rain) after they have despaired. " (42:28 )
Allah's statement,
"thereof the growth is pleasing to the tiller;" meaning that farmers admire the vegetation that grows in the aftermath of rain. And just as farmers admire vegetation, the disbelievers admire this life; they are the most eager to acquire the traits of life, and life is most dear to them,
"afterwards it dries up and you see it turning yellow; then it becomes straw."
Meaning, that vegetation soon turns yellow in color, after being fresh and green. After that, the green fades away and becomes scattered pieces of dust. This is the parable of this worldly life, it starts young, then matures and then turns old and feeble. This is also the parable of mankind in this life; they are young and strong in the beginning. In this stage of life, they look youthful and handsome. Slowly, they begin growing older, their mannerism changes and their strength weakens. They then grow old and feeble; moving becomes difficult for them, while doing easy things becomes beyond their ability. Allah the Exalted said,
"Allah is He Who created you in (a state of) weakness, then gave you strength after weakness, then after strength gave (you) weakness and gray hair. He creates what He wills. And He is the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful." (30:54)
HaVe FuN Wink
----------------------------------------------

asterix ,
concerning your questions , I'll show you how the Holy Quran answers them , though I know it won't be convincing for you as an atheist.

Who created Allah?

Allah the Exalted said;
" say : He is Allah , the One !
Allah , the eternally Besought of all !
He begetteth not nor was begotten
and there is none comparable unto him. "

Do you think the earth is flat?
Muslims scientists knew that the earth is not flat before their European counterparts , "He coils the night upon the day and He coils the day upon the night" (Qur'an 39:5).
The verb 'coils' in the verse above is a translation of the Arabic verb kawwara which is used in describing the action of coiling a turban around the head.

Where is Allah now?
Allah is above the heavens settled over His Mighty Throne and separated from His creatures He said ; "
But He is with us by His Knowledge, hearing ,seeing and other attributes. As He said: "Fear not verily! I am with you both hearing and seeing (V,20. :46)

Why is he doing nothing?
He is doing everything , the whole universe is his kingdom !!
He gives life and causes death ;
"Verily, Allah! Unto Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, He gives life and He causes death. And besides Allah you have neither any Walee (protector or guardian) nor any helper".
He sends rain , lightinig ;
" See you not that Allah drives the clouds gently, then joins them together, then makes them into a heap of layers, and you see the rain comes forth from between them. And He sends down from the sky hail (like) mountains, (or there are in the heaven mountains of hail from where He sends down hail), and strike therewith whom He will, and averts it from whom He wills. The vivid flash of its (clouds) lightning nearly blinds the sight."
He sends winds ;
"And it is He Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy (rain), and We send down pure water from the sky"
what else can you think of?

wish you the best ,
