Hi Very Happy
In Japan, Saturday is holiday, because the ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology decided the law.
What were you doing on Saturday?

which do you agree with, Saturday is holiday or go to school?

hi Wink

I'm from germany, here we don't go to school on saturday, and on sunday neither, of course Smile but it's no holiday, so the shops are open until 4 p.m., most shops also until 6 or 8 p.m.

I think it's very good that we don't have to go to school on saturdays because it's lots more easy to learn for school and to concentrate if we have two days off a week!

ciao, Sarah

But in japan, there are many problems. Some children are bums without studying on Saturday and Sunday.
In my opinion, we must give them many opportunities to study nature, sports, international things, and so on.
I want to be a good English teacher in japan, so I'm interested in the children's education.

Hello

In Hong Kong, every Sunday is a holiday. And for Saturdays, students from some schools have to go to school but some don't. But in Hong Kong, some students like me have a load of homework and I usually have to spend Saturdays on homework.
