				Dear teachers:

(a)If the Applicant were to amend the specification or drawings, it is necessary to submit a petition for amendment *in duplicate/triplicate*.

(b)If the Applicant were to amend the specification or drawings, it is necessary to submit a petition for amendment *in four/five copies*.

Is (b) correct?

Thanks. |

You can say, In quadruplicate, (4 copies) or In quintuplicate (5 copies)

OR you can just say, we need 2, 3, 4, or 5 copies.

e.g.

An applicant may amend the specification or drawings by submitting 4 copies of a Petition for Amendment. (Or perhaps, Notice of Amendment would sound better?) |
