but I wanted also to know what it is to make s.o. attractive - not only 'personality' but also which personality!?
or maybe make examples - persons you think are attractive but famous ones so that I could know them too.. Laughing

hmm... don't know how I can describe what I mean..
ahm.. okay, maybe personality is clear enough, s.o. has to have a more or less strong personality, strong enough to have his own opinion but also less enough to let others have their own.
but what d'you mean by heart?! that s.o. has to be friendly..?!
and how far is the appearence important? I think people who say stuff like "oh, the look is not important, it's important what character a person has..." that only part right. here I could quote a german comedian Laughing

who made fun of women who say ~ "I want a man who's humourous, the look then is not important" - yes and then they'll marry someone who looks like quasimodo but does know really good jokes Laughing

i think the look is important! it's maybe a combination, character/personality, appearence, reactions..
but everyone has his own opinion about good looks - maybe men say that j.lo does look very good ( I think here you can argue about..) but how many of them would like to have a women looking like her as a girlfriend?!?

I notice a girl first usually because of the way she looks. I guess we all have an idea about what is beautiful. The closer she comes to that idea, the more I am attracted. If she also has a lively intelligence, a sense of humour, is kind and considerate, then she becomes desirable.
Looks alone are not the answer.

yes I can understand you! I think if you love s.o. and you're loved again, it's not so important anymore if the other person looks so pretty because you just see him/her as pretty 'cause you love him/her..
and if s.o. says "i love you because I need you" then I'd be disappointed because that's not real love that's just egoism!

For the same reason that causes us to look at and 'desire' food when we're hungry. Biology creates a sense of attraction to say, 'x,y or z' might provide a good gene pool.

Nature is smart! But, sometimes and for some time humans are smarter.

How do you know if you are attracted to a Muslim Woman who veils? I am told that a man hears about her reputation and sees how she acts, and falls in love with her soul/personality before he knows what she looks like. I think this is very romantic but is it true?
I am an American woman interested in the middle eastern culture and all cultures around the world.
