Hi River,
'mother nature' - I believe the term dates back to pagan times where people used to worship the sun, moon mountains etc. (but I could be wrong)
It refers to a feminine 'agent' responsible for everything in nature and everything natural
So the line in the song refers to rejecting nature or natural behaviour - perhaps e.g. causing pollution or - induxtrialization
Does anyone have a better explanation? |
