Beginning tomorrow (May 22) I will be experimenting with a live global talk show using Skype. The show will be hosted in English, but I hope people from all over the world will participate. For non-native English speakers, this should be a great opportunity to practice your English, meet people from around the world and learn about other cultures.

During the webcast you can skype in and...
- introduce yourself and meet people from around the world to skype with
- tell people about something you're working on (website, podcast, or other project)
- ask questions about English or questions about other places and cultures
- discuss what's going on in the world (news, politics, music, etc.)
If you won't be able to skype in during the webcast but want to participate, please skype 'worldbridges' and leave a voice mail.

Since this is still an experiment, these first shows will be part system check and part group brainstorming session on how else we can use this great technology. Your ideas, suggestions, and participation are greatly appreciated.

For our first day of webcasting, we'll be on the air three times - 3pm GMT, 8pm GMT, and 1am GMT.
For more information and global webcast times visit http://worldbridges.com/livewire/
Recordings of the shows will be available for download after webcast.

Thanks and I look forward to skyping with you soon,
Jeff
