I've read a couple of his books and thought they were both excellent. "The Child Buyer," which is a humorous yet frightening take on Huxley-like society, was a quick read and great. "Hiroshima," probably his most famous, takes the stories of survivors from the bombing and describes life before, during, and after the fateful day.

I'm not sure where Hersey is now, or if he's even still alive, but I'm interested in finding another one of his works.
