"as close as an oyster"

Is it a common phrase?

He is as close as an oyster.
He can keep a secret.
He has a zipper on his mouth.
He knows how to hold his mouth.

Are these four common ways to say?
Is there a better way to say for it?

Thanks, teachers Wink
