How you doin�? I think there are so many funny culture that we did'nt know around the world. Even if you think that your country�s culture is normal, not every body in other country won�t think that your culture is strange. So let�s talk about your doubt about your country�s culture. And let�s know what character your country have.

I�m a Japanese by the way. My country�s strange culture is �sleeping on the train or bus�. Of course, not every Japanese do this. When people get really tired, they fall a sleep on the train or bus without any doubt. I used to do this too. But I realized that this culture is strange when I went to America as a exchange student. When I was on the bus, I was tired at that time and I fell a sleep, them some body laugh at me. I rarely saw some American people sleeping on the bus but homeless. So I decided to not to sleep on the bus and train at that time. Now I think that people sleeping on the train looks funny.
But I still fall a sleep on the train some times.

I'm from Slovakia. I think there is one thing that always seems strange for foreigners when they come here - our Easter traditions. On the Eastern Monday, boys go from house to house and hit girls with such whips made of willow leaves, and they throw water and perfumes on them or they throw them into a lake, or a brook.. Those boys then get alcohol or money from the girls' parents. This tradition is believed to bring health for the girls (but we usually get a cold after it!) I really don't like it!

hmmm... i don't know if this tradition is also in Slovenia, but I know they do it in Czech republic and Poland too. If it is a Slavic tradition then it's probably operated in Slovenia too

In China ,we also have a traditional festival related to water ,we called Water-splashing Festival.It is a very insteresting tradition about the race of Dai.On that day,people will pure water each other.It said that this can protect you from the deil and monster.And also it is come of an old tale of Dai.If you like it ,maybe i can tell you some old tales about Chinaese tradition next time.
