Yes, Thank God you are not an American. First of all America does not treat people differently because of thier culture. They treat people differently because of they way they act. Do something wrong, go to prison..do something really wrong go to death...etc..
The question was about migrant workers in America, not about cultures.
How do i feel about mirgrant workers in America? Thats a tough question.
The largest percentage of migrant workers here, work in the fields, their children move from school to school and hardly ever get a good quality education. It is a sad situation. They have no medical, no rights, and no place to call home. Some are just here to import illegal drugs into the country, they cross the mexican border to steal what they can and cross back over.
Mainly they find a good job and lay low while they send monies back home to support their families. Mainly they are good people and the good ones are the ones which we help hide from the border patrol.

Hi there people:

Well...here every body are an imigrant, exept the natives before colonization, today hispano is like time ago asian, irish, german, etc. US have great people but a bery bad goverment which take advantage of the inmigrants, well there is no much we can do, but for those who do not want us here, they must to star thinking about it, because if we left in order to eat nutritive beans in our countries, guess who shall cook mcdonalds and clean the luxurios restrooms at the hotels?

if you live in a big city you may think that we are running out of room for more people. if you have lived in states like minnesota, northen michigan or montana it should be obvious there is plenty of room for lots more people.
people who work for mcdonalds today may own a mcdonalds before they retire.

I am not American, but I think immigrants coming from other foreign countries are welcome. I can't tell this from poitically and historically points, though what it is america now, it's because many immigrants are gathered into one place of USA.
Like in New York, there are diverse people, and it makes me to visit there.

Hmm, why would immigrants be welcomed in America? As long as they are rich, America welcomes them with open arms.

MKG1211 is right. Many Americans are racist. But again, this is a generalization. Are immigrants welcome? Of course not. But hey, as long as they hand over the fries and scrub the floor who's going to care.

It's a really big debate right now (after Bush proposed that idea he stole form the Democrats). Personally, I think that the US needs to crack down on illegal immigrants and make is easier to legally come into the country.

I disagree with Azaquiel because America doesn't want any rich foreign businessmen "horning in" on "our" economy. We'd much rather have all the poor people who will work for minimum wage.

Immigrants built the United States. Don't believe me? Ask your grandparents where they are from, or their grandparents. I lived in New York for 6 years and met many "foreigners" who were doing the jobs many "Americans" would never dream of doing. They were saving for their children's education or sending money home to help feed their family in other parts of the world. Racism is in every country. I've seen it all over the world. Instead of isolating ourselves we should be learning from other cultures. Who knows? One of these immigrants may discover the cure for diabetes, AIDS, or cancer. I'll take that any day.

originally, the United States of America is an immigrated country. the ancesters of people there came from other countries about 500 years ago. historically, before Culumber discoveried the new world, the aboriginal indian were isolated from outside world. they lived in tend and held diversity paticular religion ceremomies. nowadays, people have rarely seen the abriginal indian on the streets in US. i don't kown the reason why, maybe ther are disappear or extinct under the influence of different cultures from all over the world.
