particular piece of work: a particular piece of work, especially a difficult or long one ( often used in the plural )
the labors of Hercules
Is the *labours* intended for the definition?

It doesn't sound like it. Unless it is showing "The Labors of Hurcules" as an example as a piece of work. But even then there should be some clarity that it is an example in the definition. |
