hello! 
about japan---i wrote this in a thread in Making Friends:
the beauty of the cherry blossoms in spring
and the imagination in the fashion--clothes, hair & make up!
i like that the japanese are eager to learn new things and
like to keep up on the latest technology and trends. the
japanese are not scared to have fun! i love the pop culture!
the graphic design is great, too (anime, hello kitty)
and the polite personality of the citizens.
(and hey! i just discovered Bump of Chicken while reading these forums!)
