About Igo and Shougi

My favorite Japanese culture is Igo and Shougi which are board games. First, I tell you about Igo. Its played with black and white stones. How to win of this game is that you capture the most territory. It is difficult. But its enjoyed by 10 million Japanese. An begining of a game is said to be in China around 4000 ago. But I dont understand a clear thing though there is a person saying India. After then it reached Japan. Its very old game. So, I want to take good care. Second ,I tell you about Shougi. Its like chess. I think it is oriental version of chess. Its played with 20 pieces. It was created with the thing which developed from a game in a board played in ancient India in B.C. the third century. I want to take good care too. Igo and Shougi player are ranked by skill level. It is very severe. But it is reason why Igo and Shougi have tradition and formality. I love these games very much. Do you have any traditional game in your country?
