Is it true that bike has two meanings? One means bicycle and the other means motorcycle.
How to distinguish the two? |

It has to be established early in the story what the person has. Or from the context. In any case, if you started off a story with "My friend bought a new bike," it would be confusing as to which kind of bike even to native English speakers. |
