People are *fearful* to being associated with failure.
*feared*?

People are fearful of or afraid of, or just feared (no "are")
being associated with failure is feared.

Other examples:
The man feared the lion. The man feared being near the lion.
The man was fearful of the lion. The man was fearful of being near the lion.
The man was afraid of the lion. The man was afraid of being near the lion.
The lion was feared by the man. Being near the lion was feared by the man.

the movie Wizard of Oz is a very popular old american film. there is a character in it that's "the cowardly lion" who is scared of everything. his goal is to go to the wizard to receive some courage, so he can become a real, scary lion.

there are other characters, too, all searching for the wizard to give them what they need. it is a classic american musical.

you should check it out sometime!

Many DVD shops in Hong Kong carry foreign movies that are dubbed or subtitled in Chinese. Taiwan shops also sometimes carry a large selection. Are they imported to mainland China yet?

If they are not available in your hometown now, I'll bet you can find them in shops in the big eastern cities next time you have a chance to travel there.

I live in Beijing. It is far from Hong Kong. Travel to HK is only for special people.

Not many foreign DVDs are imported into China. We only get pirate DVDs that sell for ten yuan (one dollar twentyfive cents). Foreign DVDs cost ten times that price. Too much.

By the way, Copies DVDs are available in China befor they are available in the USA. HeHe.
