Dear teacher.
Is it right when I change the following sentence into another one with the same meaning?
"It makes me surprised you haven't done this homework."
"I wonder why you haven't done this homework."
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for reply.
Please explain to me.
I don't understand what "get to know" means. Can I omit " get " without changing the meaning.

"I wish I had more time to get to know your beautiful country better."

Thanks a lot.

Hrmm, this is difficult to explain

To get to know somebody else's country is like to understand, to know your way around, in general just to know things about it

I'm sorry..it's not a very good explanation! Please ask if you want to know anything else..

Dear sir,
you mean "get to know" is " understand", don't you?
Is it true?

Another request. Please correct my writings.

1. Watching documentary films we know many helpful things for our life.

2. Students need to watch educational films at school.

3. Our film industry hasn't made films won the world's grand prize yet.

4. Motion pictures are both an art and an industry.

5. Among American actors, who do you like best?

6. She looks pretty, but actually does she act well?

Thanks in advance.
