There are three types of tea Black, Oolong, and Green tea. The difference between the Green tea and the others is that green tea is not fermented, thus keeping in the powerful antioxidants lost in the fermenting process. I drink green tea more than any other tea. In my opinion, it benefits for 2 reasons.
The first reason is the green tea benefits health. Green tea also contains polyphenols such as tannins (a nutrient antioxidant) catechins (EGCG which is a powerful antioxidant), and flavenoids, as well as other vitamins and minerals, such as Vitamin C. The antioxidants help your body fight against free radicals, which can mutate cells and make you sick. There is compound called EGCG in green tea prevents cancer cells from growing by binding to a specific enzyme.
Another reason is the green tea benefits life. There is compound called caffeine in green tea is made me fresh and cool because of the brain is stimulated by caffeine. When brain is stimulated, it makes me have concentration in learning and work.
In conclusion, you won't be disappointed if you drink green tea because it has many benefits, such as fight against free radicals, cancer and to be made me fresh and cool. What do you think about green tea?
