my husband has an ipod. you can put a ton of songs on it (download on itunes for 99 cents each) and then organize all the songs into playlists. he did not like the headphones that came with it, they were uncomfortable. so he went to the apple store and bought some different apple headphones. he didn't like those either, so he went to bang & olufson and bought a pair. he loved those headphones, but they were expensive--$165USD. and then he LOST them.

if you like to listen to a lot of different songs, i think you would like an ipod.
