Q: What do you call a lawyer with an I. Q. of 50?
A: Your honor.
I know that " your honour" is a judge but does it anything else other than that?
or it is *your honour* to find someone stupid?

It's your first thought. The joke implies that the stupidest lawyers are the ones who become judges. |

Because you said, "I know that 'your honour' is a judge."
Does Taiwan use I.Q. tests? It's a measure of intelligence, and a score of 50 rates as severely mentally handicapped. In the U.S., and probably elsewhere, it is common to make jokes about lawyers. Usually, lawyers are the ones who become judges... This joke switches the focus to judges (not lawyers). It is saying that the most stupid of the lawyers are the ones who become judges. It is a funny way to say that judges are jerks.
Hope that helps! |
