Dear teachers:

Does a manager has a higher position than a director in an ordinary company?

Thanks.

In my company's org chart, most directors are listed equal to or slightly below vice presidents but above most managers.
To make it more confusing, there are a few people who wear two hats: within the company they are an associate vice president, but their day-to-day job is as a site or program senior manager.
Below them are lead managers, then regular managers, then team leads or leaders. Below the leads are us regular workers.

Thanks Bob. So the sequence of professional titles is arranged in the order of vice president, director, manager and team leader. Very Happy

Hmm... I always though that "Lead" titles are higher than the "Senior" ones.
