Hi everyone.

Help me which is correct.

1. First, the salesman gave me a very interesting information about the radio.
2. First, the salesman gave me a very interesting news about the radio.

Please tell me why this one is right and the other is not.

Actually, both are wrong
. First, the salesman gave me a very interesting information about the radio
-gave me some interesting information
The term "news" usually refers to journalism.
A salesman could give you "news" about a radio but it would be using the word as an expression. In America, "news" can be colloquially used to mean some very new information. Example: "Have you heard the news about the radio? They cost $1.00 now!".
However, your usage was incorrect.

A Amarican guy told me: news is an uncountable noun. therefore, a news is wrong
