I heart that when you are good at a second language, then if you start learning a third language, your second language will be helpful for you to understand the third language.
Is that true?
Seriously, I just know Chinese, and a little english, someday if I feel i am good at English, I wanna choose Italian as my third language. Because in my eyes, Italy is so romantic |

I think you're right RedRose. When you're good enough at a second language, you can start learning a third language as a foreign language. As for me, I think that Spanish and Portuguese are really interesting to learn |

Hi guys,
I love both English and French! Although my English is better than my French, one day I want to speak both languages nearly as well as a native speaker does.

Well, I'm attracted to the sound of the French language. Actually, I'm fond of it. And I do want to learn it, but I'm learning English now, so I'd rather focus in it.
Anyway, I went to Paris a few years ago. And I stayed for two days in Disneyland, the other days I stayed at a hotel that near to champs-elysees st., and I visited Eiffel tower (but I didn't go to the top floor), also I took a ride on the seine river. But I haven't visited the Louvre museum and I'm very sorry and unpleased for that. When I was in the plane to Saudi Arabia, I met a French man who was Muslim and he was studying in Saudi Arabia. After that he became as a friend and brother to me. He left S.A. two years ago, and since he left I haven't heard from him. Anyway, that person gave me a good image of French people, all of them, in addition to what I saw when I was there. I hope that I visit France again in the future.
Good luck to you all

Hi Redrose,
that sentence means: "Do you speak French already?" _________________ Lerning is like rowing against a stream, as soon as you stop you will fall back! |

I think that learning languages is very interesting and you need to speak it out; therefore, you can improve your oral works.
However, we always depend on our own language.
I learned French before. I like French; however, I'm not good at it.
I just can speak French a little bit. |

You know, there is a lot of French used in English already. If you already speak English fairly well, it may help you in learning French vocabulary. |
