yeah, it means "indeed!" or "i agree."
as in,
"man, it rained like crazy last night."
"and how!"
seems like it's an older term; people don't really use it much that i know of.

| You must have heard this in an old movie. it was a popular saying in the 1930's and 1940's. No one ever says this now. |
