Hi! I'm from Russia. I'm 21. I speak English not very well, but I'm going to be an English teacher, that's why I'd like to master my language and make friends! I'm a student at the Teacher Training University. I go in for sports and music. I like Russia and can't help admiring this beautiful country. And what about you? Smile

Hi! Nice to meet you..I'm Alberto from Italy and last summer I met a Russian girl in London. She is from Moscow but it's a long time I don't know about her.

You can see my presentation in the main page of the forum "making new friends"...

I hope you'll have a nice day...Now I have to go! Bye!

Glad to meet you, too! Thank you for your answer. How long do you learn English?

I've learnt English since I was ten. But I haven't practiced so much. I need to improve it! Laughing...so if you find some mistakes in my mails tell me please!

Hi, Alina and Alberto!
Alina, I've got many hobbies. I enjoy travelling, sports, music, reading. I like the district I live in. It's quite area and my parents live next door. I like living close to them! I like cats.

Alberto, modal verbs don't go with "to". (I need improve it - correct)

sorry to correct you, but alberto was right.
it's a phrase, "(to) need to do sth". "I need improve" is wrong. you can just say "I need improving", but i'm not sure about it..

greets

Hi! Maybe, you're right. My teacher spoke to me that *I need improve it* - correct. But *need* is semi-modal that's why it may go with to, as well. I'm not sure. So, you needn't worry about that. It's o'k.
