Hi,
I am not sure the meaning of the late1800s.
Does it mean that late 1800s = 1807 -1809 or = 1870-1899?
And what about the difference between late 1800s and late 1800?
And how about late 1870s?
Thanks |

late 1800 means the end of the year, 1800
late 1800s means the end of the 17th century, 1860-1899. it really depend who you talk to as to which exact year they are talking about - it could be shortly before 1860 or as late as the end of the year, 1899. iitimone7 |

Thanks sir,
late 1800 means the end of the year, 1800
You mean : near the end of the year, 1800. Say November or December 1800 ?
late 1800s means the end of the 17th century, 1860-1899.
Should it be the 19th century?
We now live in the 21st century - that is 2000-2099?
And the last question: how about late 1870s?
= 1876-1879?
Thank you again |
