What does he look like?
What is he like?
How is he like?

'what does he look like' is correct.
'how does he look' requires an answer of adjectives to describe him - 'he looks sad today' or 'he looks great with that new jacket'.
you could also say 'it looks like he cannot do that task by himself'.
'what is he like' is correct
'how is he like' would be better worded 'how does he like to eat his eggs: scrambled ot fried' or 'who is he like: his dad or his brother'. |

'what does he look like' - this is a physical description. you are at a party and a guest is planning to come who you don't know, so you ask our roommate 'what does he look like' so that you know who you are looking for when he arrives.
'what is he like' - this is a description of personality. since you don't know this guest at the party, you ask your roommate this question to find out about the person...does he enjoy listening to loud music or does he dance, is he friendly and outgoing...
