I just bought a clock at an antique shop. It is
A. a German wonderful old clock
B. an old wonderful German clock
C. a wonderful German old clock
D. a wonderful old German clocok
Tough time picking between B and D. Please enlighten.
Is it a becautiful young lady or a young beautiful lady? I would say she is a beautiful young lady. How come the answer book says the choice for the above question is B - an old wonderful German clock?
Thanks.

i asked my teacher yesterday.she told me that there is a formula.
that is:
article/pronoun/numeral-----the word express character-----size/shape/old or young/age/color-----gerund/nationality and so on-----noun
for examples:
1/China is a great, modernized socialist country.
2/Nancy is reading an old, exciting, romantic love story.
3/Mary has just bought herself a pretty green cotton dress.
i think your question is similar to the second sentence.
hope that helps.

I would follow this :
opinion--> shape--> age--> colour--> origin--> material
So, I would choose D and beautiful young lady. |

I'd make the same choices as Vin. The others just sound a little odd. |
