Do I have correct sentences?
1. You said you were going to take me to Hawaii for our anniversary. Now, you say you have to work. Put your money where your mouth is.
2. You don�t need to brown nose your boss to get promoted. To my knowledge, he never buys it.
3. If you want to have laser eye surgery, you have to find a clinic which has the state of the art equipment.
4. You can�t always live under your parents� dreams. March to a different drum. Be yourself.
5. This machine has no problems at all. It is still up and running.
6. His charm catches my eyes.
7. Her beauty catches my eyes.
8. His misbehavior catches my eyes.
9. I don�t love him at all, but he still keeps sending me gifts, calling and e-mailing me. If he keeps ruffling my feathers, I will sue him one day.
10. A: How was the exam?
B: It�s a snap.
11. A: I have an interview next week.

There are a few slight improvements that might be made.
1. Is excellent.
2. OK.
3. If you want to have laser eye surgery, you have to find a clinic that has state of the art equipment. (You don't need the)
4. You can�t always live your parents� dreams. March to a different drum(mer). Be yourself.
5. OK
6, 7, 8. Catches my eye not eyes.
9. Needs a comma after calling
10. It was a snap - to match the tense in, How was the exam?.
11. Excellent. |
