Somebody has recently sued Michael Jackson (July 2005) saying he was lured into his limousine during the 1984 World's Fair in New Orleans and sexually assaulted. The alleged assaults continued over eight days as the pair travelled to California, it is claimed. The man said he was drugged, cut with a razor blade and bitten.
Jackson was summoned to appear in court but failed to turn up and was fined $10,000. The new trial begins in September.
Oh, what a lovely man (?) he is. There is never smoke without fire. |

Blossom, I thought you were a perfect angel who just talked about something nice, I had never known you also talk about gossip until just now.  then maybe you are not as perfect as I imagined before?
But I bet you are actually very dull. when you need compliments, you always pretend to talk in all seriousness and condamn people who have the different viewpoints as if you were a saint or Mother Teresa  but sometimes, you reveal some normal personality like talking about gossip. by comparison, I like frank personality.
However, in my eyes, you are very funny, childishly funny. |

No. I am not a perfect angel, and I am not a saint, but I do try to talk about nice things, and avoid saying nasty things, and being female I like gossip. But what I mentioned about Michael Jackson was not gossip. It was facts |

You mean, all gossip is false? gossip=lie? hehe. I am afraid not.
according to Cambridge dictionary. gossip:
1 [S or U] (a) conversation or reports about other people's private lives which might be unkind, disapproving or not true:
2 verb [I]
to talk about other people's private lives
see? unkind...partly means not nice. that means you are not as nice as you said. sorry.
besides, Michael Jackson's case is a true truth? Have you gone to US to prove that? You should have run these words through your brain before speaking them.
I can't say Micheal's case is truth or not, I just dare conclude I am NOT a hypocrite. and I can't conclude all my words are nice, because I am Not a saint, I am just an ordinary woman, so it is impossible that I act perfectly well. I am sorry that I found you were not as perfect as I imagined. however, I am glad that a truth was proved once more: it is: None is perfect. you neither.
by compared with some people who are sincere, I perfer sincere, ordinary people to so-called nice people.

Dose gender have anything to do with gossip? Don't you know women and men are equal? who told you gossip is just women's right? It is clear is that while you may be in Guanzhou you are certainly not Chinese or a student.
And you certainly have not learned that if you cannot say anything nice then say nothing at all. |

oh, men and women are absolutely not equal! they are from the same kind, human, but in their thoughts and actions they are totally different, i think. i the same situation a man would probably act just in the opposite way as a woman would.
and i believe too, that gossip has to do with gender, or the other way round, what you like. because i noticed that women mostly do like gossiping, also about nasty or only unkind things, but men don't like gossiping so much, they have another way to do it. i'm no man so i can't say it definitely, but i have never heard of or seen a man who's sitting in a cafe with his best friend and gossiping..

No, you just saw some men who didn't like to gossip. not all men act that way. some men also love to gossip. and not all women love to gossip, some women don't.
So far, no techinal or biological resources support this thesis about that gender cauces the hobby of gossiping.
I am not saying that gossiping is bad or good. I just know it has nothing to do with gender. in the other words, gossip has nothing to do with estrogen or testicle.
I admit that there are some differences between men and women. for example, women can give birth to a baby, but men can't; men can pee standing, but women can't. those are biological differences. but once again, gossiping isn't biological difference.
Becides, when I say something, I never pretend that I am nice enough to teach people a lesson. because I know I am not so qualified. I always face my mind. |

OMG!  What a mess!!Was it a retaliation for a previous quarrel that making someone at last started a brand new flame war?Seems someone couldn't live without such quarrels otherwise she would feel bored maybe.I also remember one say in another thread that would never reply to another one since she don't want to talk to a hypocrite,but now I can see either she changed her mind or she breached of her promise,she eventually talked to a 'hypocrite'(alleged by her over and over again).WoW,enmity worked.
Not sarcastic but totally sincere.
Back to the gossip thread,men don't like gossip not because physiological distinctions with women but the social affecting us,gossiping men are not welcomed . |

wow! someone wasn't insulted enough by a powerful guy? someone was defeated by a rude but sincere guy and he had a lot of pains in his mind without taking out so he turned to pour these pains to women? nice try! if you are a real guy, don't nip your tail and turn to women when you got a heat from another guy, just go and face that powerful guy be manly
In China, there is a famous saying: " hypocrites are always blowed up by real people." that is true. and another saying:"if a man is bullied by another guy, he always wants to conquer women. that is what we call little one's happiness."

from your painful laughter, I can feel how frastrated you are. sorry. I can understand your pains and your bitter experience, also, I can understand why you turned to seek the sense of success from women after being insulted by a powerful guy. sorry, element. I am very sorry. although I think soap is very rude, but just such a rude guy can deal with hypocrites perfectly well. you deserve that, I am sorry, I can't help u.
and yes, a gossip man isn't welcomed. but a man, who was defeated badly and wants some triumph from women, would be very very popular. I hope such triumph can smooth your frastration and your pains and your suffering.
