I give myself a duty is to choose one of the four prepositions. But I failed to find out which one. Please help me and don't forget to give me your kind explanation. Thanks.

The entrance exam is ......... far more difficult than the end-of-term one.

c. in
d. from.

the entrance exam is by far more....This is the correct form!

I don't know but are you German? In German, it means "bei weitem"...Bye
