Ah, the scene with the Etch-a-Sketch?
It's a parody of old Western style movies. A man who was fastest as drawing his gun (pulling his gun out and shooting it) would be called the "fastest gun in the West".
The Etch-a-Sketch toy is controled by knobs, the little white dials that control the vertical or horizontal movement of the inside pen that draws the picture. He could draw a picture of a gun very fast, so Woody was teasing him in a friendly manner with a Western movie reference. |
