1. a garage rack is a metal or plastic shelving unit that you can mount on the wall of our garage to store things in. in USA, garages are as large as your family room (or larger) - like a regular room in your house - that fits one, two, three, or more cars (most people have one or two car garages).
when i visited russia, a garage was a small shed in which you lifted one side of it up, suspending it in the air, drive the car under it, get out of the car, and pull the shed down over it and the shed barely fit over the size car that you had. they had no room for a garage rack in them.
2. a bottle of vinegar vegetables is made in fancy, odd shaped bottles that contain many different types of vegetables. The vinegar acts as a preservative so that the vegetables don't go bad or discolor. it is an ornament that most people (if they have any) in USA use to decorate their kitchen. the vegetables are never to be eaten - it's just for decoration (a dust collector).
