There was such question on a philosophy lecture:
"Would perfectly rational beings engage in arguments with one another?"
Could somebody explain me, what is meant by perfectly rational?? Is it "perfectly clever and knowing everything" or what? Or is rationality some set of concepts and beliefs which the rational person has? So if two beings are perfectly rational - they have same beliefs and would never argue? As , for example, two perfect christians? |

In your example,it means perfectly sane, sensible, moderate; not foolish, absurd or extreme. |
