Some student visas allow you to work a part time job while you study to help pay for college. (Some student visas do not, so be careful which kind you get.)
Some countries (e.g. Australia, Canada) allow Working Holiday visas where you can go work for several months to save money (which means no travel, no sightseeing) to pay for school later.
This little bit of part-time job money combined with scholarships might make it possible for you to study abroad.
Does anybody else have info on countries with working holiday visa programs? |

you're right
however, you have to have at least $50,000 in your account
And if you go abroad to study , why don't you study your best
and something like that |

If your parents don't have enough money to support you to go to a university then you should think about making some money by youself.(working after school.baby sitting .etc. )
There is nothing to worry about as long as you have courage.
I know one of my freind decided to go abroad for study English. He doen't have money at this time but he already registe ed for a exchage student and he will entered on a scholarship. He is going to Australia on December 2005. He is a strong courage person and that's why he made his decision. and he know that this opportunity will make him more chance to get a job. He takes chances. |

For studying English abroad, Australia is the cheapest. Here is a list.
1) Australia
2) New Zealand
3) Canada
4) The States
5) United Kingdom
though 1) and 2) are almost the same and 3) and 4) are almost the same.
The UK's living costs (food, rent, etc...) are very high.
PS. I don't know about South Africa, I have never heard of anybody studying English there, so I can't help with that one.
