No for the following reasons:
1. He has done virtually nothing to seriously enhance security at our ports of entry (namely sea ports where cargo goes uninspected and airports where politically correct politeness supercedes sensible risk profiling) and along our porous southern border.
2. He is so eager to be liked by the people around him, he doesn't responsibly fire the grossly incompetent members of his administration that give him bad advise or false information.
Not that Kerry would have been any better. |

Yes, he is a good leader. These are the results of the Bush Administration.
1. The federal government have busted more than 20 al-Queda cell members from Buffalo, New York to Detroit, Seattle and Portland, Oregon.
2. More than 100 other individuals have been convicted or pled guilty to terrorist related crimes.
3. Hundreds of foreign criminals and suspeted terrorists, plus one known member of al-Queda, were prevented from entering the US thanks to the National Entry-Exit Registration System.
4. The Taliban is out and the first democratic election took place in Afghanistan in which 8 million Afghans voted and in support of America and democracy.
5. Saddam Hussein is out and the people of Iraq are now able to express their opinions over the Internet from their own country in Internet Cafes for the first time.
6. After seeing how the US won the war in Iraq so easily, North Korea finally decided that multilateral talks was a good idea as the US recommended.
7. After seeing how the US won the war in Iraq so easily, Gadhafi of Lybia finally decided to cooperate with the UN inspectors.
8. Osama Bin Laden and al-Queda is kept on the run.
9. More than half of al-Queda's leaders are either dead or captured.
10. Bush was able to convince France, Germany, and other countries to write off Iraq's debts.
11. And nearly 3 years after Sept. 11 attacks, there has not yet been another mass terrorist attack on the US.
Well, Taliban gone, Saddam gone. Gadhafi retired. Osama "resting." "Message: America wins" is as accurate a summation of the Bush administration. Whether or not you think American victory is a good thing is another matter. Things seems to be going America's way, and the only argument worth having is about the speed at which they're doing so. |

Yes, he is: every responsible leader cares for health of his or her nation. In my country we say that laugh is a good cure for everything (so, perhaps it is good for flu too- I heard that you have some problems with vaccine protecting against this disease, don't you?).
One day I found this:
The Stupidest Things President George W. Bush Has Ever Said
10) "Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream." LaCrosse, Wis., Oct. 18, 2000
9) "I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family." Greater Nashua, N.H., Jan. 27, 2000
"I heard there's rumors on the Internets that we're going to have a draft." second presidential debate, St. Louis, Mo., Oct. 8, 2004
7) "You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test.'' Townsend, Tenn., Feb. 21, 2001
6) Censored
5) "There's an old saying in Tennessee I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee that says, fool me once, shame on shame on you.
4) "I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully." Saginaw, Mich., Sept. 29, 2000
3) "They misunderestimated me." Bentonville, Ark., Nov. 6, 2000
2) "Rarely is the questioned asked: Is our children learning?" Florence, S.C., Jan. 11, 2000
1) "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004
And many more:http://politicalhumor.about.com/library/blbushisms.htm

Yep! Isn't the USA great! The media and the people can make fun of their leader, and still live (unlike in the days of the Taliban and Saddam Hussein). |

I don't think that he's a responsible leader.. As Bob said, he's too focussed to make a good impression and therefore his actions aren't targeted on the best solution for a problem but on the best effect..
and i don't think that it's a leaders duty to make his people laugh about him.. sounds quite unconventional to me
and what Diana numerated is only his politics against the terrorism and i don't think it was the best way he could have done it. I'm not so knowledgeable in all his political decisions and actions but i have the feeling that i just can't take him serious.. i can't help myself..
greets
ps: of course, it's the big question if al gore or kerry would have done this politics any better than he did.. _________________ Don't cry because it's over - smile because it happened!
