If he means general knowledge why doesn't he say so?
Cognition = knowing, perceiving, or conceiving as an act of faculty distinct from emotion and volition; a result of this.
a perception, sensation, notion, or intuition.
It is a philosophical term, and in my opinion, not the right word to use in this context. |
