Mr. Green I demand a "cleaner" of this forum who deletes all this advertisements.

But he should only clean and he shouldn't delete other guy's postings only because that posting is not according to his opinion.

Can someone contact dave?
Do you support this idea?

Guys, we need a revolution in this forum! Mr. Green Otherwise it would be full of rubbish!

The question is how to identify ads from other regular posts? If this sort of cleaner is created, how to prevent superiors from misusing it?

Yes, right
The possebility is that we do a democratical voting of this cleaner first.
But it's also the dangerous side of this adminism that then we would have a kind of absolutism monarchy.

So my opinion is that we have to vote the right cleaner. One, at whom we are sure that he won't do other things than cleaning.

But how should we establish it? I mean, Dave is dead, and we have no other possibility to harm the forum, have we?

have you noticed the new "Help" forum? and there's a new moderator for this forum, too! Very Happy maybe we're lucky and they have finally understood what this forum needs Wink would be cool, huh?

I voted for the third point, because it always depends on who the admin is. I'd prefer one who's very often in this forum, also writes and is within reach for everyone, surely means that he/she answers to our messages, too Laughing I think if there'd be someone like Corey who act (or doesn't) only in the background, that wouldn't make it any better.
I'd like s.o. who can close topics - like the one with the elements and redroses argument for example Laughing - or can delete spam posts but can't dismiss anyone.

greets Smile

I think there should be a thread started for the cleaner who announces the members that he will close that topic.
So, the cleaner should be someone who is active in this board, I think too.

Let's begin: My candidate is stellara, who will be my vote, too.

thank you Very Happy That would be fun Laughing no, I'd take that serious, 'course.

I'd suggest also: you, admiral Wink , and Bob because he's also quite often on this board for a long while and he seems to be rational enough to only delete the posts that need to be deleted.

greets Very Happy

Ah, I see this is the place I should introduce myself. I have been moderating the teacher forums for Dave. He heard your requests and asked me to moderate the student forums too. Yesterday I deleted a lot of advertisements. I will continue to delete advertisements and double postings. If you think I am doing something wrong, please send me a private message.

Thanks!

Lorikeet

I'll second that. Thanks, Lori, for taking on that job, especially for cleaning out the more egregious adverts.
