I guess that on the board, there are some members who are parents already, and most members are not parents yet. however, later or earlier, you will become a parent. what kind of parents would you be? strict one? generous one? middle one?

Basically, I am a strict mother. If my daughter forgets to do her homework, I would blame on her, sometimes I even condemn her out loud. however, I took some memers' advices, never beat my daughter.

Anyway, I believe that each parent loves his/her baby, whether you are strict or well-tempered.

again, what kind of parents would you be?

Ok, I am a theorist.
However, I want my future child, if I would have one, Laughing I will want him/her to be brave. I mean, he/she shouldn't fear of anything, anybody, because that's the most important.

He/she should be able to do everything on his/her own. And he/she should not lie, I mean pretending that the work hurts him/her very much, to let me help him/her.

Mr. Green oh, I notice... Mr. Green (please don't take it that serious, I only want to say that my child shouldn't be afraid of his classmates, etc.)

Quotation from Adolf Hitler, "My battle":
Quote:
...My paedagogy is hard. The weak must be hammered away. A youth will grow in my castles, at which the world will be frightened. A (ok, not violent or savage, but) fearless youth do I want. Youth should be this all, pain must it sustain. Nothing weak should be at them. The free, glorious predator should flash out of their eyes, strong and beautiful...

Then he says that he doesn't want any intellectual education, but this is wrong. Knowledge is the most imporant, however, then it goes on:

Quote:
...controlling must they learn. They should learn how to defeat the fear (ok not especially the fear of death, but fear generally) even in the most difficult challenges...

Laughing Laughing Laughing Don't take it as a kind of example, please, I fear from being kicked out of the forum...

I will be father around the end of october or beginning of the november .
These days, my wife and I usually talk about how to bring up our baby.
We basicaly reach agreement on it that I should be a kind father and my wife should be a strict mother because my character is so gentle that I couldn't be strict with our baby.

I am so excited, I will be father.
