doppelganger

1.somebody similar to another person: somebody who closely resembles somebody else

2. ghost identical to living person: an apparition in the form of a double of a living person

What is that?
Thanks

For example, if you were to see a ghost or someone in real life that looked just like you. That ghost or person would be a doppelganger.

it's actually a german word, adopted from the US during WW2. If I see somebody who looks just like me or I say hi to somebody because that person looks just like somebody I know, but is not the person I thought it is..... thats a doppelgaenger.
