Hello, everyone.
Is the sentence below grammatically correct and does it make sense?
On a rainy day umbrellas sell well.
The reason I am asking you this question is because I feel the thing(s) that sell(s) well should be a definite one or definite ones, not a thing or things in general.
Any comment would be appreciated.
Best regards,
fw

It sounds fine to me. It makes sense that umbrellas would sell well on rainy days. (All umbrellas, so general form.) |
