Hello everyone. I am sure there are plenty of people which appreciate John Fowles classic writing style. There are two books in which we are particulalrly interested in - Magus and Daniel Martin. Both books, one of which was included in 20th century top 100 list, illustrate human ability to adopt to new environments. For instance, in "Magus" it is isolated island near Creece and its mysterious community, and in "Daniel Martin" it is traditional theme of Englishman in America (like Sting's "Englishman in New York").
Therefore, both books provide excellent though fictional evidence for human ability/inability to accept or reject environment. Currently, literature and psychology experts at ww.edusynergy.com are working on the study, which aims to incroporate some Fowles' ideas as well as practical evidence of this problem. We would really appreciate if you share some of your ideas about the books and stated dilemma or maybe some evidence from your own life, which we can use as testimonials in the study. The study will be published in known and reputable literature and psychology journals. Feel free to most your ideas, comments, criticism in this thread or in case you dont want to disclose some personal information please contact us at http://edusynergy.com/support_center.php
Thank you very much for further assistance.
