I have written a letter of inquiry to a foreign company. I know the letter of inquiry should be positive, specific, and polite. But I don't have an idea that whether my letter of inquiry meets these conditions or not. Could you give me suggestions about any words, sentences, and paragraphs in my letter? Thank you very much. My letter of inquiry is as followed:
Dear Sir/Madem:
REQUEST for INFORMATION ON THE NEW PRODUCT
In the October 26 issue of the 3C magazine, I saw the advertisement introducING a few upcoming models of NOKIA in Asia Pacific. One of your phone models, NOKIA 7380, really caught my eye. I know of your company's good reputation for high quality around the world. In Taiwan, NOKIA also has the highest market share.
As a salesperson, in order to contact with many customers, I need a durable cell phone. I like taking a picture as well, so a cell phone with high pixel camera is important to me. However, my cell phone sometimes breaks down and only has 0.3 pixel camera. Recently, I have begun to looking for a replacement for my old cell phone. I have confidence that Nokia 7380 will be my best choice.
I am eager to buy this cell phone after it goes on the market in Taiwan next year. I would be grateful if you would send me all the details of the Nokia 7380, including pricing, warranties, and the newest functions different from other cell phones.
I appreciate the attention you have given to this matter. If it is possible, please email back to me before November 7, 2005. I look forward to receiving your response.
Sincerely yours,
Shia Wen-Li
Salesperson
