according to my adictionary,*put sb away*(often passive)means*confine sb in a prison or mental hospital*
e.g.He was put away for ten years for armed robbery.

what is the mean of context you refer to in your sentence?
1.words that come before and after a word,phrase,statement and the like.
2.circumstances in which sth happens or sth is to be considered.
