Dear Teachers,

What does "the third time's the charm" mean? Could you give me some examples? Thanks!

It's an English saying, that if you try to do something two times & it doesn't work, the third time you try, it will work.

Example:
I tried to tie my shoes two times, but I couldn't do it. I told my teacher, and she smiled and said, "Don't worry, the third time is a charm!" I tried again, and I tied my shoes!
