Are both #1 and #2 correct?
( ) a movie (i.e., not a �video� or �DVD� version on the TV screen)
1. see
2. watch

Yes, both "watch" and "see" can be used.
But when you say "I want to see a movie" it usually means at the movie theater. While if you say "I want to watch a movie" it usually means at home, or to rent a movie. |
