Dear Teachers,

1. I have been seeing this guy for a month now.

- This mean .dating this guy, right?

2. The more you talk about it the more you will learn how serious he is about it.

- I dont understand how serious he is about it?

3. I want anything I can get with her.

- This means I want anything that I can be by her side, right?

4. Im in my late 30s.

- This means Im nearly 40 years old, right?

5. Does he place the blame on her?

- What does this mean?

6. Just continue reading your book!
- Just go on reading your book!

- Which sentence is right?

7. Come up with something no one would expect.

- What does come up with something mean here?

Thanks very much.

Stevenukd.

1. Yes, though some people think "seeing" is before "dating", that dating is more official. Some people think they are the same. But the answer is yes.

2. To be serious about ___ = really want it, really strong
Example: serious girlfriend means that you might get married

3. I need context (an example with more). If my friend said that, I would think, "He wants to try to have sex, or atleast come close to sex."

4. Yes

5. I need context, an example ???

6. same

7. come up with = think of
Think of something no one would expect.

This is all American English too.
